Cafeteria Operator (2026-2027 School Year)

Salary:

$14.53 per hour base salary (based on full time experiemce) •A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work

Qualifications:

High School diploma or high school equivalent required A minimum of one (1) year food service experience or equivalent Driver's License required Supervisory references preferred Positive employment history preferred SLED/criminal background review required Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Job Duties:

Performs a variety of food service activities including preparing standardized recipes and serving food for students Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment, serving area, and cafeteria seating area Interact in a postive manner with students, facilty/staff, others working in kitchen and the general public Operate institutional food services quipment Perform other related duties as required A complete application packet must be submitted through the online application system prior to the closing date in order to be considered for this position.
