The ideal candidate will assist with pizza preparation, order taking, food packaging, customer service, cleaning, and restocking while maintaining high standards of food quality, accuracy, and hospitality. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders accurately. Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients as needed. Assemble pizzas and other menu items according to recipes and customer orders. Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain consistent food quality. Verify completed orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper packaging. Communicate special requests and order details to kitchen team members. Process customer payments and operate the POS system accurately. Package pizzas and other food items for pickup and takeaway service. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen and service areas. Restock ingredients, pizza boxes, utensils, napkins, beverages, and other supplies. Assist with cleaning equipment, preparation surfaces, dining areas, and workstations. Follow food handling, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties. Support team members during busy service periods and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous pizza shop, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and order accuracy. Basic familiarity with POS systems and payment processing. Ability to follow recipes, food safety procedures, and restaurant standards. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting during shifts. Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods. Willingness to learn different kitchen and customer service responsibilities. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
