You will also learn our POS system to take orders. We need a collaborative team player who can communicate well with both customers and colleagues. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food service and ensuring that our dietary standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation, and casual takeout. Looking for someone to initially come and train up for 2 weeks and then build up to a consistent, set schedule of 15 - 25 hours a week & tips! Hours will increase over time if interested and learn the system, but to start, that is what we are looking for. Duties Prepare and cook primarily chicken wings according to established recipes (over 40 flavors!) and dietary guidelines. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Provide excellent customer service while serving meals in a fine dining environment. Participate in catering events as needed as well as occasionally assisting up front Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas. Skills Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide. Fryer experience necessary Proficient in food preparation techniques, including cooking and meal preparation. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is highly desirable. Culinary experience with an emphasis on catering and chicken wings is a plus. Excellent organization skills for efficient meal preparation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
