Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety standards, ensuring quality and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly. Manage customer transactions including sales, upselling, cash handling, and processing cash register operations. Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and providing a welcoming environment. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining area, and food handling stations to uphold sanitation standards. Assist in food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support team members during busy hours by managing food service customer order management and operating kitchen equipment efficiently. Skills Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments with a strong understanding of food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for retail sales transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately during peak hours. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and professionally. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management. Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred; retail or grocery store experience is a plus.
