Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately. Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and retail space in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Assist customers with product selections, answer questions about menu items or products, and provide friendly service. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, fryers, blenders, and other culinary tools to support food preparation. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in quick service or fast-food environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently and handle inquiries professionally. Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing register operations. Retail experience including grocery store or café environments is highly desirable for success in this role.
