Our kitchen team is responsible for producing the pies, bakes, and other meals that make Crust Club special. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Production Team Member to join our Pleasant Grove kitchen. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with food, staying busy, and being part of a team. What You'll Do Your day-to-day work will focus on preparing and packaging Crust Club products while maintaining our standards for quality, food safety, and consistency. Prepare & Produce Food Prepare ingredients, sauces, fillings, and other components using established Crust Club recipes. Follow production plans and prep lists based on the day's needs. Measure and portion ingredients accurately. Assemble and finish sweet and savory pies, bakes, and other menu items. Package, label, date, and store finished products correctly. Use FIFO practices to maintain proper product rotation. Work toward daily production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy. Maintain Product Quality Follow recipes and portion standards consistently. Inspect products for appearance, portion size, and overall quality. Monitor cooking and baking times throughout production. Communicate any quality or production concerns to a manager. Keep the Kitchen Running Smoothly Safely use commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, induction burners, and other production equipment. Keep workstations clean, organized, and ready for production. Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the shift. Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen checklists. Help wherever needed to keep the kitchen operating efficiently. Food Safety Follow Crust Club food safety procedures and applicable health department requirements. Maintain proper food temperatures and safe food-handling practices. Follow personal hygiene and sanitation standards. Report equipment problems, food safety concerns, or other issues to leadership promptly. Be a Great Teammate Work cooperatively with the kitchen team to meet daily production needs. Communicate clearly about inventory, prep, and production requirements. Step into other kitchen tasks when needed. Arrive on time, stay productive, and contribute to a positive work environment. What We're Looking For The right person for this position is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on their feet. You don't need to be a professional chef—we can teach our recipes and processes. We do need someone who is willing to learn and takes pride in doing things correctly.
You should:
Be at least 18 years old. Have a Food Handler Permit or be willing to obtain one after being hired. Be dependable and punctual. Be comfortable working in a busy production kitchen. Be able to stand and move for extended periods. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures. Pay close attention to portion sizes, presentation, cleanliness, and food quality. Work well independently and with a team. Experience That Helps Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in any of the following is helpful: Restaurant or commercial kitchen work Food preparation or production Baking Food manufacturing Commercial kitchen equipment Food safety and sanitation Why Work at Crust Club? Saturday availability is required. Part-time hours and weekly schedules may vary based on production needs. Candidates should have flexibility to work later or evening shifts during busy seasons, holidays, and other high-volume periods . Reliability and consistent attendance are important for this role.
