Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to established standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas through regular cleaning and organization Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring guest areas are tidy and welcoming Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury Serve food and beverages efficiently during busy service periods, including food running and in-person customer service Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and billing accurately Support heavy lifting tasks like moving stock or equipment with proper techniques to ensure safety Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations diligently to uphold high standards of hygiene Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe practices in mind Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills in in-person settings Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to hospitality excellence!
