In this vital role, you will be the bridge between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that food is prepared, coordinated, and presented flawlessly for our guests. Responsibilities Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite food orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to guests Assist in food preparation and handling, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness Communicate clearly with kitchen team members to relay special requests or modifications for orders Organize and prioritize multiple orders during busy service periods to optimize workflow Support serving staff by bussing tables and ensuring the dining area remains clean and inviting Use POS systems (Toast) accurately to process orders and payments when necessary Maintain organization of food stations, ensuring all items are stocked, labeled, and ready for service Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred Strong understanding of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic numeracy skills for order accuracy and POS system operation Experience with food expediting or banquet service is a plus Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and hotel or catering experience is advantageous Join us as an Expo Food professional and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
