We're hiring a part-time Swim Instructor to teach group lessons for kids ages 3-12 at The Colony Aquatic Park (5580 N Colony Blvd). Weekend hours, $20/hour, start immediately. Schedule Saturdays 12:00-2:00 pm and Sundays 11:00 am-3:00 pm (6 hours/week) Additional weekday hours may be available Responsibilities Teach small-group Level 1 and Level 2 lessons following our curriculum Demonstrate correct technique and water safety practices Keep swimmers safe, engaged, and progressing; follow established safety and emergency procedures Track progress and give parents short, clear updates Help with setup, breakdown, and keeping the deck organized Qualifications Comfortable and confident in the water; competitive swim or coaching background a plus, not required Patient and reliable with young kids Must pass a background check and complete USA Swimming Safe Sport training (we'll walk you through it) CPR/First Aid or lifeguard certification preferred; we can help you get certified Why A+ Consistent weekend hours that fit around school or another job Paid training and a path to coaching our competitive groups Small, close-knit staff
