Beverly Hills, CA About the Position We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly detail-oriented Luxury Private Estate Housekeeper to join the household staff of a private residence in Beverly Hills. The residence is approximately 20,000 square feet and includes 12 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms, requiring an exceptional standard of cleanliness, organization, presentation, and discretion. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a luxury private residence, estate, five-star hotel, or other high-end hospitality environment and will understand the standards expected in a private household serving high-profile Principals and their guests. This position requires someone who is reliable, proactive, organized, discreet, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger household team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks in various areas of the residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Launder and care for fine linens, delicate fabrics, and different types of clothing. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking when necessary. Organize and declutter living spaces to maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of household tasks. Adhere to specific cleaning schedules and guidelines as discussed with the Principal. Handle special miscellaneous cleaning tasks such as window cleaning, carpet care, etc. Report any maintenance or other repair issues to the appropriate team. Must have basic cooking skills. Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when working in private residences. Perform daily routine and detailed cleaning throughout the residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, offices, hallways, guest areas, and other common spaces. Maintain the residence to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and presentation at all times. Perform deep cleaning as needed and according to established schedules. Maintain guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel-level standards , including preparing rooms prior to guest arrivals. Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, sanitize, and maintain all appropriate surfaces and areas. Clean and care for high-end finishes and materials, including marble, stone, wood, glass, stainless steel, and specialty surfaces. Assist with special cleaning projects, including carpets, upholstery, windows, outdoor areas, and other areas as assigned. Identify stains, damage, wear, or maintenance issues and promptly report them to the appropriate household or property management contact. Privacy & Professionalism Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times. Respect the privacy of the Principals, family members, guests, and household staff. No unauthorized photography, recording, social media posting, or disclosure of information regarding the household or its occupants. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor while on the property. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury private residence, estate, five-star hotel, or high-end hospitality environment. Experience working in a large private residence or estate is strongly preferred. Excellent English communication skills are required. Strong knowledge of professional cleaning products, techniques, and procedures. Excellent laundry, ironing, and garment-care skills. Basic cooking and food-preparation skills required. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and proactive. Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute reliably to Beverly Hills. Schedule Full-time, primarily daytime hours. 6 month contract. The candidate must be flexible and willing to occasionally work evenings, weekends, holidays, or special events when required by the household schedule. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, kneel, reach, and lift household items and supplies. Perform physically demanding housekeeping tasks throughout a large residence. Safely use standard housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
