Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational facilities by executing routine janitorial tasks. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others. Use industrial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently for floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation tasks. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, linens, and cleaning materials to support efficient workflow. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping needs with excellent customer service skills. Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols and emergency procedures to ensure safety and compliance at all times. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles within the hospitality industry is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and cleaning equipment operation. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, vacuuming, and industrial cleaning tasks throughout shifts. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
