This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity, not a W-2 position.
COMPENSATION
Vendors are paid a predetermined flat fee for each completed work order. Indeed's displayed rate of $22-$32 per hour represents the estimated gross equivalent based on typical cleaning time—it is not an hourly wage. Actual earnings vary by job, efficiency, travel, crew size and business expenses. Hours, income and work volume are not guaranteed.
HOW IT WORKS
Receive work orders showing the location, cleaning scope, service window and flat fee Accept or decline each offer without penalty Complete accepted work using your own professional methods, equipment and supplies Receive weekly ACH payment for approved completed work orders Remain free to work for other customers and companies Available work may include recurring residential cleaning, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleaning, short-term-rental turnovers and small commercial cleaning.
REQUIREMENTS
Professional cleaning experience Independent cleaning business or sole-proprietor operation Reliable vehicle and smartphone Your own professional cleaning equipment and supplies Valid Form W-9 General liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage At least two professional or customer references Strong communication and reliability Ability to pass identity verification and a background check before entering customer properties Willingness to complete a paid test cleaning Independent vendors manage their own schedule, methods, taxes, insurance, transportation and business expenses. There are no fixed shifts, guaranteed hours, employee benefits, overtime or exclusivity requirements.
