Tampa, FL About Us:

Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club, a premier private club with a long-standing tradition of excellence, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Houseman to join our Housekeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining the Club's high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service for our members, guests, and staff.

Position Summary:

The Houseman supports daily housekeeping operations by maintaining public and back-of-house areas while assisting with event, banquet, tournament, and special function setup and breakdown. This position plays a key role in ensuring all Club spaces are clean, organized, and presentable before, during, and after Club activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of public and back-of-house areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, stairwells, offices, and employee areas. Assist with setting up and breaking down for events, banquets, tournaments, and special functions, ensuring all designated areas remain clean, safe, and presentable. Support Housekeeping staff by delivering clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies throughout the Club. Collect and transport trash, recyclables, and soiled linens to designated areas. Restock housekeeping closets, carts, and storage areas Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and spot cleaning Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly Follow all safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and OSHA guidelines Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and fellow employees.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in hospitality, luxury clubs, or high-end service environments preferred. Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic. Ability to perform physically demanding work. Friendly, service-oriented demeanor with strong communication skills. Time management and multitasking abilities. Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and shoe care.

Compensation:
