Overview Join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites as a Part-Time Hotel Houseman. In this role, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining public areas, supporting housekeeping and laundry, performing light maintenance, and assisting with the overall appearance of the hotel. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and is committed to providing exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities Clean and maintain all public areas, including the lobby, breakfast area, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and fitness center. Keep the exterior of the hotel clean by picking up trash, sweeping entrances, and maintaining parking lots and sidewalks. Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs, and assisting with preventative maintenance. Support housekeeping and laundry by delivering linens, assisting with laundry operations, stocking supplies, and helping with room readiness when needed. Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Respond promptly to guest requests while providing friendly, professional customer service. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations. Qualifications Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred, but not required. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and follow chemical safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and work indoors and outdoors throughout the shift. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.
