Position Overview The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service for our guests. This role plays a key part in ensuring that each guest experiences a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming environment throughout their stay at Candlewood Suites Perry - National Fairgrounds. Key Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with brand and company standards. Change and replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all areas of the guest room, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces. Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and kitchen items. Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost and found articles to management. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Ensure assigned service areas and carts are kept clean, organized, and stocked. Provide courteous and professional service to guests, responding promptly to their requests. Assist with laundry duties as needed. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed. Skills & Competencies Time management and organizational skills. Customer service and communication abilities. Reliability and a positive attitude. Knowledge of cleaning practices, safety procedures, and brand standards (training provided).
