Responsibilities Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle laundry duties efficiently by collecting soiled linens and towels, washing, folding, and replenishing supplies as needed. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and other supplies to meet guest expectations for comfort and convenience. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate janitorial equipment responsibly to ensure a safe workspace. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards. Support team members with additional custodial tasks or special cleaning projects during busy periods or deep-cleaning schedules. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles; hotel experience is highly preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with hospitality standards and the ability to deliver exceptional guest service through cleanliness. Ability to operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently in industrial cleaning environments. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of hygiene. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
