Housekeeping Attendant
Job Description
As a Houskeeper we take pride in providing clean rooms for our guests. We have a strict cleaning procedure to ensure the cleanliness of the room. We want to be a home away from home for our guests. Training will be provided before working solo in those areas. Prefer hotel or commercial experience but are willing to train the right candidates. Typical hours are 9am-4pm.
- Ensure all rooms are caned, cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Ensure appropriate maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and tools
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies used in housekeeping activities
Housekeeper Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
- Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
- Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided
- Ability to assist customers and guests when needed
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Ability to follow verbal directions
