This position has the responsibility for cleaning the guest rooms and Common Area's within the Inn, in a timely and thorough manner to ensure our guests satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting. Clean guest rooms according to standards within allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping scrubbing, or vacuuming. Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment. Notify supervisors concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms. Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy. Sort linens and treat stains. Load washer and dryer to proper capacity, set proper cycle/time/temperature, dispense proper detergents/chemicals or set dispensing equipment, according to procedures and instructions. Neatly fold/stack items from the dryer. Practice safe work habits. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Perform other duties as requested by management. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and be a team player. Strong attention to detail required with good organizational and efficient time management skills.

Experience & Eligibility:

Previous hotel housekeeping, or comparable, experience preferred. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 100 pounds. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping and kneeling
