Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to DETAIL and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. MUST be available Sunday and Monday 10-4pm for the reservation busiest checkout days! Also must fill out a 1099 form for taxes I do not withhold them. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members. Skills Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in housekeeping management. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus. Ability to perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Experience in industrial cleaning settings is advantageous but not required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
