Craignair Inn by the Sea is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and energetic Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. This is an hourly position, and housekeepers also receive tips left by guests. The shifts are 10am - 3pm. Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in the guest experience. From freshly made beds and sparkling bathrooms to thoughtfully prepared common spaces, the care you put into each room helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere our guests remember long after their stay. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little details, enjoys staying active, and works well as part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms to Craignair Inn standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing guest amenities. Thoroughly clean rooms following guest departures and refresh rooms for guests staying multiple nights. Maintain clean, welcoming common areas throughout the inn, including hallways, stairways, sitting areas, entrances, and other guest spaces. Restock housekeeping linen closets, guest supplies, and cleaning products as needed. Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, missing supplies, or anything that may affect a guest's stay. Work efficiently to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail. Communicate and work closely with fellow housekeepers, innkeepers, and other team members to provide a smooth and welcoming guest experience. Assist with occasional deep-cleaning and seasonal projects throughout the property. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, hotel, inn, residential cleaning, or janitorial experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while also contributing to a team. Good organization and time-management skills. Friendly and professional when interacting with guests. Comfortable working at an active pace and completing physical tasks throughout a shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift or carry housekeeping supplies and linens.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
