The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to sanitation and customer service, making it essential for the Housekeeper to have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to their duties. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Execute floor care routines such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring their comfort during their stay. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy environment for all residents or guests. Assist with additional tasks as required, including cooking or meal preparation when necessary. Skills Proficient in various cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests. Experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures to ensure compliance with health standards. Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently while managing time effectively. Familiarity with housekeeping management principles is advantageous. Capability in performing laundry duties and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces.
