Duties Perform thorough cleaning of lodging units, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care. Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and routine maintenance to keep surfaces looking their best. Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio cleaning, outdoor furniture maintenance, and debris removal when necessary. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury while completing tasks efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and the use of various cleaning equipment. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation procedures, and proper handling of cleaning supplies. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled periods. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior maintenance or yard cleanup.
