Job Description

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, floor care, and overall room cleanliness. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that every guest experiences comfort and cleanliness during their stay. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment while developing your skills in hotel housekeeping management and janitorial services. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agent Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and conduct detailed floor cleaning to maintain pristine conditions Manage lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols Ensure all sanitation standards are met by cleaning windows, mirrors, fixtures, and surfaces with precision Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and other common areas to uphold hotel standards Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work is highly preferred Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial experience is advantageous Ability to handle cleaning equipment efficiently and safely, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts Basic understanding of hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your commitment to cleanliness directly enhances guest experiences.
