In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest areas, service corridors, and back-of-house spaces. Your proactive approach will support our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring that all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public spaces, and service areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to ensure a pristine appearance. Assist with replenishing supplies in guest rooms and public areas to support housekeeping staff. Ensure all corridors, stairwells, and service elevators are clean, safe, and free of hazards. Support with furniture moving, trash removal, and deep cleaning projects as needed to uphold cleanliness standards. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution. Follow all safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hotels or hospitality settings preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
