We have 1 Part Time position available working daytime hours 8:30am - 3:00pm, includes every other weekend. St. Clare Living Community of Mora has an opening in Housekeeping. JOB SUMMARY

Cleans and maintain all surfaces within the facility by following housekeeping policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

Previous health care setting experience preferred

COGNITIVE OR MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

Reading, writing, weighing, and measuring capabilities. Contact with patients, resident, public and other facility staff members. Managing multiple priorities and ability to make decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS

• Clean and maintain facility restrooms, showers and bathing areas in a sanitary germ-free manner and removes trash from all areas. Completes patient and resident discharges and prepares room for next admission.
• Clean all areas in the facility as needed and as assigned following housekeeping policies and infection control standards.
• Uses all chemicals appropriately on the right surface with the proper dilution rate.
• Operates equipment such as buffer, extractor, vacuum and any other housekeeping equipment.
• Maintain proper level of supplies such as toilet bowl cleaner, toilet tissue, clearing clothes, etc.
