Parkway Health and Rehab is an 87 bed skilled nursing facility located in Canton, MS just off the Nissan Parkway. We are looking for friendly and compassionate housekeepers to work with the elderly to ensure they have a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment.

The positions available are:

Housekeepers:

8a-4p working a 4 on 2 off schedule

Floor Tech:

8a-4p working a 4 on 2 off schedule

Job Summary:

HOUSEKEEPERS

Cleans and services rooms, baths and other resident areas. Cleans window sills, empties trash baskets. Cleans assigned areas and equipment, refilling soap, paper towel and tissue dispensers. Dusting furniture, mopping floors, cleaning bathroom fixtures and toilets in assigned areas. Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.

FLOOR TECH

Sweeping and mopping hallways, pulling trash through out the day. Responsibilities for housekeepers and floor tech: Keep the nursing facility in a clean and sanitary condition. Must have a genuine interest in working with geriatrics. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions. Ability to perform tasks with consideration for residents in the area. Works under close supervision performing simple, standardized tasks. Other duties as requested.
