Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling instructions to prevent accidents or contamination. Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other floor care equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and shine. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment as part of routine maintenance or cleaning projects. Maintain cleanliness of all areas including floors, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Assist with custodial duties such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and minor repairs to ensure facilities remain functional and inviting. Support facilities maintenance activities including basic repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with chemical agent handling and safe work practices related to cleaning supplies. Experience operating floor buffers, polishers, or other specialized cleaning equipment preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices. Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Prior porter experience or background in industrial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory. MUST have valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to multiple cleaning locations daily throughout the area. MUST have working cellphone or access to internet for time keeping and schedule managment.
