Housekeeping Responsibilities All Housekeeping Department staff are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the hotel/motel and its facilities. Daily responsibilities may include cleaning and maintaining: Guest rooms and accommodations Public restrooms Hallways and common areas Event center, as needed Fitness room Steam shower facilities Laundry facilities Guest day rooms Guest Room Cleaning Duties Guest rooms must be cleaned and maintained in accordance with applicable health department rules and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

Changing and replacing bed linens with clean sheets. Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures. Dusting and disinfecting furniture, surfaces, and high-touch areas. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting floors as appropriate. Removing trash and replacing wastebasket liners. Replenishing clean towels, toiletries, paper products, and other guest supplies. Ensuring guest rooms are clean, sanitary, organized, and ready for occupancy.

Laundry Duties Laundry responsibilities include:

Washing, drying, folding, and organizing towels, bed sheets, linens, and other hotel laundry. Maintaining an organized and sanitary laundry area. Ensuring clean linens and towels are properly stored and readily available for guest rooms and hotel operations.

Pay:

$9.00 - $14.00 per hour
