In this vital role, you will support the housekeeping department by ensuring all public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces are spotless, well-organized, and inviting. Duties Assist with cleaning and maintaining corridors, lobbies, and public areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces Support housekeeping staff with replenishing supplies and organizing linen closets and storage areas Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, surface disinfecting, and detailed cleaning of bathrooms and common spaces Help with industrial cleaning projects when needed, including deep cleaning of carpets or upholstery Ensure all back-of-house areas are tidy, safe, and well-stocked for staff operations Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff alike Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely Experience with industrial or specialized cleaning methods is a plus Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and support overall hotel operations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
