Implement proper sanitation procedures across all areas, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces pristine. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely while adhering to health guidelines. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service. Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden cleaning and upkeep of exterior spaces. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling routine maintenance. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles. Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures along with the use of various cleaning equipment and detergents. Expertise in floor cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and floor care maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during busy periods. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within designated schedules. Outstanding customer service skills with clear client communication abilities. Experience with outdoor work activities related to property upkeep is a plus. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or residential housekeeping practices is advantageous.
