Job Overview Courtyard by Marriott is looking for a dependable and hardworking Houseperson to join our hotel team. The Houseman helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests while supporting the housekeeping department with daily operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, works well with others, and is committed to providing excellent guest service. Responsibilities Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and hotel public areas. Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping staff. Collect and transport dirty linens, towels, and trash. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, public areas, and other assigned spaces. Assist with room turns and housekeeping projects as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests and provide friendly, professional service. Maintain housekeeping closets and storage areas in an organized condition. Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to management. Assist the housekeeping team with other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
