Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure every room and public area meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be the cornerstone of guest satisfaction, delivering exceptional service through meticulous cleaning and attention to detail. Your dedication will help foster a comfortable, safe, and inviting atmosphere that guests will remember. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, change linens, and replenish amenities to maintain pristine conditions Conduct sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards across all hotel areas Use janitorial equipment such as floor buffers, steam cleaners, and industrial cleaning tools efficiently and safely Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts, cleaning supplies, or furniture rearrangement while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or commercial setting preferred Familiarity with floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safe use of cleaning agents Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems is advantageous but not required Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in industrial cleaning or hotel housekeeping roles is highly valued Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence!
