Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and conduct floor care procedures to maintain a spotless appearance Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety standards Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns Maintain cleanliness standards by completing sanitation tasks regularly and documenting completed work accurately Use janitorial equipment efficiently, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored properly for optimal performance Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning with a strong understanding of sanitation practices Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and floor care maintenance Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively Understanding of hotel housekeeping management practices and janitorial procedures Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols within a hospitality setting Join us in delivering outstanding guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness and exceptional service.
