Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including patios or entryways. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services while maintaining professionalism. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, and floor care products. Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures ensuring sanitation standards are met consistently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with clients regarding their preferences or special requests. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning supplies. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or patios as needed. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting; ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
