Hourly Rate:

$16.50 to $17.50 based on experience Free daycare for one personal pup Free use of spa Paid training and Education in basic dog obedience Career progression based on performance Flexibility in scheduling Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and caring Dog Playroom Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will be the heart of our dog daycare, ensuring each pup has a safe, fun, and enriching experience. Your enthusiasm and animal handling skills will help create a positive environment where dogs can socialize, play, and thrive under your attentive care. Responsibilities Supervise dogs during playtime in open-play climate-controlled playrooms, ensuring safe interactions among pups of similar size and temperament Monitor dog behavior closely, intervening with gentle restraint or training techniques as needed to prevent conflicts or injuries Assist with dog handling and restraint using proper techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff Maintain cleanliness of play areas, including cleaning up after dogs and disinfecting equipment regularly Observe for signs of stress or illness in dogs and communicate concerns to management or veterinary staff promptly Support pet grooming, pet sitting, or veterinary technician tasks as required to enhance overall animal care Engage with pet parents via customer service interactions, providing updates on their dogs' activities and well-being Experience Prior experience with dog handling, training, or pet care is highly preferred Background in veterinary assistance, kennel work, or animal handling enhances your ability to succeed in this role Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods is a plus Experience in pet grooming or pet sitting demonstrates your versatility in animal care Strong customer service skills are essential for engaging positively with pet parents Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to a certain weight) safely when handling supplies or assisting with dog movement Join our team and be part of a vibrant environment where your love for dogs makes a real difference!
