Housekeeper/Painter Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Join Our Team at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center! Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper/Painter to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors, while also assisting with routine painting and touch-up projects throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean surfaces throughout the facility Clean and disinfect high-touch areas and maintain proper infection-control standards Empty trash and maintain appropriate housekeeping supplies Assist with linen changes and other housekeeping duties as needed Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures

Painting & Facility Appearance:

Perform routine painting and touch-up work throughout the facility Prepare surfaces for painting, including light sanding, patching, and minor repairs as needed Paint walls, doors, trim, common areas, resident rooms, offices, and other designated areas Maintain a neat and professional appearance while completing painting projects Properly clean and store painting tools, equipment, and supplies Report larger maintenance or repair concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Safety & Resident Care:

Follow all facility safety, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to instructions Maintain a safe work area and use appropriate signage when floors are wet or work is being completed Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or damaged equipment promptly Interact with residents, families, and staff in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping, commercial cleaning, painting, maintenance, or related experience preferred Basic painting experience, including the ability to perform wall and trim touch-ups Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to work respectfully around elderly residents Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift housekeeping supplies and equipment Ability to safely use cleaning and painting equipment Apply Today!
