Job Summary:

We are looking for someone to join our team as a PT Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant as we ramp up for a busy fall/winter season. This individual will clean guest rooms following departure, provide daily service, clean public areas and assists with laundry.

Essential Duties:

Housekeeping Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards Change linens and towels between stays Make beds neatly and replenish room essentials (e.g., soap, shampoo, toiletries, toilet paper) Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and spot-clean as needed Dust surfaces and ensure rooms are guest-ready Empty trash bins and remove used items promptly Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, plumbing concerns, etc.) Laundry Wash, dry, fold, and stage linens and towels efficiently Sort laundry properly to avoid mix-ups or damage Operate washers/dryers safely and follow care instructions Keep laundry area organized and stocked Monitor inventory of linens/towels and report shortages Remove stains using approved products and methods when possible

Experience:

Prior housekeeping or laundry experience is a plus (but not required)

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Good communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent standards Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment Standing and moving for extended periods Lifting and carrying laundry loads and cleaning supplies Bending, kneeling, and reaching during room cleaning Ability to lift up to approximately 20 pounds Ability to walk up and down stairs unassisted About us Hotel Mountain Brook is a 20-room, B&B located in Tannersville, NY. that is owned and operated by {verdigreen} hotels. {verdigreen} hotels is a boutique lodging brand founded by design and rooted in community.
