Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents, contributing to their overall experience. Duties Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to management. Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and polishing as required. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and other facilities. Assist in laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness. Skills Proficient in custodial practices with a strong understanding of housekeeping management techniques. Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
