Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Perform window cleaning and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness and visibility. Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing. Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including pressure washers for exterior areas and janitorial tools for interior spaces. Maintain proper chemical handling procedures, ensuring safe use of cleaning agents while adhering to infection control protocols. Conduct sanitation of bathrooms, kitchens, and public spaces to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large supplies while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Support overall janitorial duties like trash removal, restroom sanitation, and maintaining cleaning supplies inventory. Follow strict infection control procedures to prevent the spread of germs and ensure guest safety. Use manual handling techniques to perform cleaning tasks efficiently without injury or strain. Experience Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with cleaning procedures enhances performance. Experience with window cleaning, pressure washing, or floor care is advantageous. Knowledge of chemical handling and sanitation practices is essential for safety and compliance. Customer service skills are important to address guest requests politely and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently is required. Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation ensures effective task completion. Previous experience in infection control or healthcare-related cleaning is a plus but not mandatory.
