We're looking for a warm, capable, dependable housekeeper who can help bring order to a busy family home. Someone who can clean, manage laundry, organize, make beds, and keep everyday household tasks managed... and help us achieve the elusive goal of being ready when someone drops by unexpectedly. The humor is real, but so is the job: we need consistent help and would love to find someone who becomes a trusted, long-term part of our household.

Responsibilities include:

Regular house cleaning: dusting, surface cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, and floors Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens. Changing linens and making beds Tidying rooms and returning things to their places Organizing closets, drawers, and household spaces Keeping the kitchen in order, including dishes and the dishwasher Keeping track of household supplies and flagging what needs replenishing Helping establish simple routines so the house stays manageable between cleanings Communicate effectively with family members to understand specific needs, schedule tasks accordingly, and provide excellent customer service in a residential setting. We'd love someone who: Notices what needs doing and takes initiative Is thorough, organized, and reliable Can prioritize without needing every task spelled out Is comfortable around children and dogs Communicates clearly and respects household privacy This role focuses on housekeeping and household upkeep. Cooking or occasional errands could be discussed if those are things you enjoy. Please respond with your relevant experience, availability, desired hourly rate, and references. We can discuss a consistent schedule that works for both of us. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, surface sanitation, floor care, carpet cleaning, and use of cleaning equipment. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day. Exceptional client communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining household standards.
