Job Description

Overview:
At our family-owned and operated senior living community, we are committed to providing the senior citizens of Hazleton, Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas with privacy and freedom as well as the convenience and security of on-call assistance and maintenance-free living. Housekeeper - Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean, straighten, and remove trash from common areas, offices, and public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, furniture, and other surfaces. Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other restroom supplies as needed. Clean, straighten, and remove trash from resident apartments and apartment bathrooms, including sinks, showers, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and other surfaces. Replenish soap, paper products, and other supplies as needed. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform other routine floor care throughout the community. Maintain resident apartments in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive condition while exercising care to protect residents' personal belongings and property. Promptly clean spills, soiled areas, and other housekeeping concerns as observed or as directed by a supervisor. Ensure housekeeping equipment, supply carts, and storage areas are clean, well-maintained, organized, and safely stored after each use. Perform other housekeeping and related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Due to the nature of this position and the need to communicate effectively with older adults, residents, families, coworkers, and emergency personnel, candidates must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English.

PM Pay:
From $11.50 per hour
