Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers efficiently and safely. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures for all surfaces, ensuring a spotless environment. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care. Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or heavy items safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines for chemical handling. Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality. Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment for optimal performance and longevity. Experience Experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with an understanding of janitorial and custodial practices. Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and surface sanitation. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and safe handling procedures for chemicals used in sanitation. Familiarity with laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when needed. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their preferences and needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during deep cleans or move-ins/move-outs.
