Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Use vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, mops, and other janitorial equipment to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained Conduct floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies in accordance with manual handling safety guidelines Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and effectively in case of incidents or safety concerns Maintain sanitation standards by regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring proper waste disposal Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and floor care products Experience handling chemical agents safely while maintaining sanitation standards Familiarity with cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Understanding of hotel housekeeping management practices and safety protocols Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking Join us in creating memorable stays for our guests by delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality!
