The Village at Morrisons Cove, a continuing care retirement community, is currently seeking to hire a full time 3rd shift Floor Maintenance Assistant. This individual will be responsible for stripping, cleaning and waxing floors, cleaning resident wheelchairs, campus security checks as well as other janitorial duties as assigned. This position requires an independent, motivated individual as it is a highly autonomous job. This position requires every other weekend. Interested candidates may apply online or in person. Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

Skills:

• Experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or environmental services is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
