The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our buildings This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service for a home that supports senior citizens with intellectual disabilities. Working 8-10 hours a day - approximately Wed to Saturday. Perform thorough cleaning of bedrooms, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces as needed. Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels efficiently. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by housekeeping management. must be willing to switch job duties as needed- may need to provide direct care to the residents. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards residents.
