Job Description

We are looking for self-motivated Public Area Attendant with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations! Sweep and mop all public area tile floors Vacuum corridors, staircases, landings and lobby Spot clean carpets; remove spots and stains from carpets Clean & disinfect public restrooms, floors, walls, sinks, urinals and commodes; replace toilet paper, paper towels and soap, wash and polish fixtures; clean mirrors. Remove paper, trash and garbage from assigned areas and place in dumpster Replace burned out light bulbs Patrol grounds of hotel, pick-up paper, cans, trash and debris; sweep walkways Power wash hotel drive Shovel and remove snow and/or ice from walkways and hotel drive, salt ground to prevent slippage and falls as required Clean vestibule and hallway
  • Entry door glass, floors and walk off mats Use blower on main/side entry walkways, steps, and sidewalks & hotel drive Wipe exterior of flower/shrub pots, clip any dead leaves/branches, and water plants Clean Guest Laundry/Vending area
  • Wipe machines, sweep and mop Clean Fitness Center
  • Wipe machines, sweep, mop, clean mirror & window Clean Elevator
  • Wipe down interior & doors, sweep and mop Experience A minimum of one to three months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred but willing to train.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need.
