Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role will include laundry, guest cabins, and public areas. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of effective cleaning techniques. Communication with other staff members and self motivation is important. Desire to cross train for other positions within the resort is a plus. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including laundry room and guest rooms. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness. Skills Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
