Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers efficiently and safely. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies, outdoor work for yard or patio cleaning, and moving items as needed. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, including detergents and other cleaning agents, ensuring proper storage and usage. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning techniques for surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery; familiarity with carpet cleaning methods is a plus. Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, outdoor work, dusting high surfaces, and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with janitorial procedures, floor care techniques, and the use of various cleaning detergents is preferred.
