Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team here at the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville/Franklin (Cool Springs). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed. Assist with laundry services as required, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented. Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing friendly and courteous service to all guests. Assist with any additional department duties as needed by your immediate supervisor or management. Skills Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products. Familiarity with floor care methods including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and hardwood care. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory. Janitorial or custodial experience is an asset; industrial cleaning knowledge is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
