Position Summary:

A Tool Room Technician will control the inventory, storage, and issue of tools, small equipment, and selected consumable supplies. In addition, the position will be responsible for small tool repair including hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. Qualification Highlights Must have 2+ years' experience working for an industrial construction project. Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below). Must be able to meet all physical requirements. Must have reliable transportation. Required Qualifications Must have 2+ years' experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position. Must be able to repair and inspect hand and power (electrical and pneumatic) tools. Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in the construction of a Combined-Cycle Power plant Must be organized and have the ability to complete an accurate count on items received. Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively. Must be familiar with basic computer operations. Must be able to follow directions. Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped. Preferred Additional Qualification Current Zachry or Zachry ROF'ed employee. Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc. Previous experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

Reporting to:

This position does not have any direct reports. Physical Requirements Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting. Will talk and hear to communicate. Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull objects, materials, controls and tools. May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs. Will work at slight heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms using the appropriate fall protection requirements. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots.
